Night Monster again another great pre-code creature story. |

"Ray Alexander" in the first story is a caricature of Alex "Flash Gordon" Raymond. I don't know if the real Alex Raymond smoked a pipe, but his character "Rip Kirby" did. |

Jay Disbrow listed Alex Raymond as an influence, so it's probably a tribute. What's also interesting is the editor in the story has the initials L. B. just like L. B. Cole. Hmmmm... ;-) |
