The printing quality on "Timeless Topix" seems unusually high. Registration is good and the color palette seems wider than normal. Apparently these were printed by someone other than the standard comics print houses. When the magazine switched to 64-page size under the title"Topix," the printing degenerated into typical clunky comics stuff.
Roman Baltes' art on the lead story is pretty nice.

Fascinating! I just learned that Roman Baltes art directed this magazine, and shortly after WWII he hired aspiring cartoonist Charles M. Schulz as a letterer. Later he bought some of Schultz' cartoons. Here's an article:
