Delightful stuff!

John the Conqueror Floor Wash! Hope it's different from the John the Conqueror Perfume... Much of this kind of stuff is still available on eBay. Also there are "alleged" Lucky Mo-Jo coins for sale on eBay right now! Look like they might be repro's, though.

In trying to figure out what "lucky jickey"* was, I came across a Lucky Mojo Curio Company site that sells Hoodoo in Theory and Practice by Cat Yronwoode! Small world.

*Google fail! I never did find out what "jickey" (apparently pronounced "jicky") is.

Wow! A new marvel on every page. Well, not every page. Most pages seem just to mix and match a few items in different combinations. I wonder who the target audience was. I think my favorite item is "Hi-John, the Conqueror Root" which sounds like a superhero from an underground comic. Better stay away from those Rectal Cones, though. Especially if you just swallowed some Val-Mor Laxative Cough Tablets. At least you can get rid of the resulting Bad Evil Odors with some Lucky Mo-Jo Perfumed Room Spray and Floor Wash. Thanks for posting this wonder. Hours of fun for the whole family!

Reminds me of "Joan the Wad, the Cornish Piskey" ads in some old British SF magazines. These are a scream.

Fascinating! Clearly aimed at an African-American audience, possibly composed of people who emigrated from the Deep South to Northern cities (like Chicago). I'm surprised they didn't use the slogan "Get Your Mojo Workin' with Mo-Jo products."
