The opening stories look like Art Cappello, but was Cappello working this far back? One of my first pro jobs was inking one of his stories for an educational publisher.

Capello has credits on Charlton romance titles from as early as 1951 and as late as 1967. This story is from 1958 so is within the realm of possibility he pencilled it. What struck me about the this comic is how the stories are full of the sort of short cuts that Hy Eisman showed us (during my Kubert School days) that he did while working for Vinnie Colletta churning out these romance stories for Charlton so they could make a buck on Charlton's low rates.
