Carol is hired as a grammar school teacher in Fairfield. She meets Bill, whose nephew and ward Buddy is one of her students. Carol and Bill fall in love but Buddy resents Carol and turns his uncle against her. Bill takes Buddy out of school and Carol will lose her job as a result. Buddy apologizes for his actions and everyone will live happily ever after.
