Captain Dack also appeared as a supporting character in several of the Sexton Blake novels, according to Jack Adrian (editor, Sexton Blake Wins, 1986, J.M. Dent & sons, page 119).

Impressive art from the ever-reliable Ron Turner.
Captain Dack is interesting in that he enters the Sexton Blake universe after an independent existence in Thriller Picture Library, so Google tells me. For the next twenty years, he shares some adventures with Sexton but also on his own in picture library and novel format.
With Mark Hodder (Blakiana website) spearheading a new interest in Sexton (two novels out next year), maybe we’ll see more of Captain Dack and the Mary Ann Trinder?
