The final story has an interesting twist. A "plain" young woman falls in love and spends half her savings to undergo plastic surgery and become beautiful. Ironically, the guy doesn't recognise her now and says he loved the "plain" girl. She goes back to the plastic surgeon and gives him the rest of her savings to be restored to her "plain" appearance (and thus wins her man).
