Marcy rejects Greg again because he has no “future.” Foster turns out to be a tyrannical overseer, mistreating the workers; when Greg rescues him from an enraged employee, Marcy sees the error of her ways and marries Greg.

She’s now an invalid and refuses to marry him, but Hugh gives her $10,000 a month to live on. Mary proves Cyna is not disabled and is fleecing Hugh out of the money. Hugh can now get married to Mary with a clear conscience.
