Speaking of clones, this guy [Black Eagle] has to be a clone of the Australian character, Sir Falcon. Exactly the same costume except the bird is supposed to be an eagle and not a falcon. And its black. And who is the second character, O Sombra, the Shadow? You guessed it, that s the Australian Shadow! Note perfect. Even to his name being Jimmy. But what is really jaw-dropping is the ads. You open a comic book,can't read the words and you have a short comic of a cute little boy showing a cute little girl a razor and blades. And she appears delighted. After the shock, you think about it. OK, logic says that 'o Papai val adorar!' has to mean, ' Oh, Dad will love it!' and they are talking about giving them to Dad for a present, which seems a little better, until you think about ita bit more. Who came up with the idea to advertise razors in a comic aimed at children? And small children at that. And where will they get the money from? In fact, the more I think about it, the worse it gets. Oh, and you get a free Razor Blade key ring! And they though that was a new idea in 1977. I think I'll go and have a lie down now.

As a car buff I'm impressed by the effort the artist puts into drawing authentic cars. His choices of cars aren't exactly mainstream (e.g. Nashes and Kaisers) but he does the work. The Panther mentioned these characters were based on Australian originals. I notice the cars here are right-hand drive. Could these be reprints of Australian stories?

This is not a copy/plagiarism. These are the australian characters of Peter Chapman and Jeff Wilkinson licensed and published in Brazil. It's not a different character, is just how they translate the name. And the father's day ad it's not half as creepy as you make it sound, lol.
