This issue is listed in Charlton Spotlight #9 as the rarest Charlton comic of all time. Wonderful addition to the site.

There's nothing here (in this particular issue at least) that speaks to the Black experience or point of view. In fact, except for the artwork, which does -- to some limited extent -- try to depict Blacks with Black features, the characters are basically interchangeable with whites. For example, none of the characters faces any kind of racism, just as whites typically don't.
