A Rick Random story – hurrah! Brimming full of imagination, I wonder if this is an unknown Harry Harrison story – the crown jewels go missing in an oceanic world where mermen on giant sea horses, dressed like knights of old, do battle with goblin-like characters led by the evil Bestina and the fishy femme fatale, Milda. Rick seeks to rescue a maiden in distress, named Elsie (Elsie?), find the crown jewels and overthrow an evil empire all in sixty-four pages – can he possibly succeed? Anyone know what a rhinderspeldus is? With underwater kingdoms, fantastic devices and manic battles, this is like a seashell-laden space opera - a scallopera!
