The Darrows are back in a continuation of the Riddle of the Blue Men – though the stories can be read independently. Not much for Rita to do in this one but it’s a rip-roaring adventure in the manner of Garth with an evil despot, tribes of barbarians, paralysing rays and a fantastic citadel built in a cavern beneath the Earth. Gripping stuff.
