A decent enough yarn though hampered by the assumption that the Cavaliers were the good guys - when everyone knows it was the Roundheads who were on the side of equality, fraternity, liberty and decent quality sausages for all.
Don't know who the artist was - but his horses are brilliant. I wish I could capture the dynamics of horse movement like that.

Cover and interior artwork by Arthur Horowicz. More often in Thriller Picture Library during the 1950s. Apparently always worked on historical strips. (I agree in general with Andrew999 about the Roundheads - at least before Cromwell slaughtered all the proto-democrats and abolished both Parliament and Christmas.)
