Synopsis | Lila breaks up with her fiancé Doug when she learns he's not wealthy. Scott, who is rich, hires Lila as a companion for his invalid wife Margaret. Lila is attracted to her employer but suspects Scott is deliberately making his wife paranoid and plans to have her institutionalized. When Margaret's doctor disagrees, Scott decides to murder his wife for her money and tells Lila she will be his accomplice. Lila instead calls for help but falls out of a window and breaks her legs. She is taken away in an ambulance as Scott is arrested. |

They are all on the same flight back to the USA when the plane has to ditch. Dot takes advantage of the crisis to belittle Fern's fear, which angers Chuck. The survivors are set adrift on rubber rafts. Dot becomes hysterical and now it is Fern who comforts her. They are rescued and Chuck and Dot reconcile. |

She thinks she's going to prison but the judge releases her to marry Dan. |
