When a block of slums collapses, Ann’s boyfriend Tom blames her for her betrayal. Ann submits the slum clearance bill and Tom comes back to her. |

This makes Renee jealous and she realizes she still loves Ned. Frances says Ned still loves Renee as well, and they reconcile. Renee then discovers Ned’s hearing has returned. |
