Although The Spirit Fakers is attributed to Houdini, it was actually ghost written by no less a luminary than Lovecraft. |

The only story Lovecraft ghost wrote for Houdini was "Imprisoned with the Pharaohs" in the May-June-July 1924 Weird Tales. Nobody seems to be positive who the ghost was on the other Houdini stories in Weird Tales, I've heard several guesses but nobody seems to be particularly certain. |
