Begs the question. Some sources give Tarpe Mills 'Miss Fury' as the first superheroine.
But both Miss Fury and Black Cat debuted in 1941.
Black Cat in Pocket comics #1 August 1941.
And Harvey also had Pat Parker 'the War Nurse' who debuted in May 1941 and was a costumed hero - after the orige tale. So who was first?
This is a good reference source for origin dates, but for some reason it doesn't have Miss Fury!
