Is this Oliver Passingham? The guy in the opening is surely Rip Kirby's butler Desmond doing a little moonlighting. EDIT: That's what I get for commenting before I'd finished the story. It's signed "Franchi" in the last panel. The only Franchi I found on Lambiek was a Belgian cartoon artist from the 30s.

Confusion over the art!!!!! Don't ask me. Murder Bag was the tv predecessor to the much better known No Hiding Place, which still featured Lockhart. " recovered episodes have recently been aired on British tv.
