It seems to me that it was drawn by Lina Buffolente, a very well-known lady in Italian comics.

Some of the cars are a bit strange but the art is very good overall and the likenesses of Broderick Crawford are excellent. The script doesn't quite capture the flavor of the series. The show was usually set out of doors rather than in casinos and such. The open road played a big part.

Agreed that the artist is great at everything but cars. Some of them are pretty ouchy! Tho one on 25 they forgot to ink one of the headlights. On 27 they had a good photo to work from. The truck on 35 is nicely drawn - but what is it? Not anything you'd normally see a lineman driving. That's what makes it fun to read these.
