Seems that Creepy Worlds 167 is the SAME as Creepy Worlds 139, except that #139 has a notation at bottom of page 2 (I count the cover as page 1) that it's #139 and there is no such notation in #167. Could it be an erroneous issue? Yet the cover of #167 says it's #167, and likewise for #139. Or the UK publisher just reprinted #139 to fill a hole?

The reprint (167) has a 12p price while the earlier (139) cost sixpence. I haven't made a deep dive into Alan Class comics, but I believe he wasn't above reprinting some of his books in toto. Occasionally individual stories appeared in more than one book.

I loved Alan Cass comics as a child - although I only learned about the publishing history much later. The stories were so varied and I preferred monochrome for comics - perhaps because English comics were normally in monochrome in the early sixties.

Difficult to say a lot about AC comics given some of the things which have been alleged about them over the years. Suffice to say that the comics were put out almost willy nilly and reprinted at times. The price of 15p on this on is a decimal price. You'll see other titles with pre-decimal pricing. Bear in mind that narf has taken out all the non pd stuff from the uploads because there were often Marvel; Tower; Archie Mighty Heroes and other stuff in the books.
