Published by Frank Johnson, Sidney in January 1951. Art by Peter Chapman, Phil Belbin and Ian Alison. "This excellent series which ran to no. 20, though the GCD has an issue 23 listed as well." All information from Ernesto, who also scanned the comic. Many thanks. There is more information about this book at the bottom of the page

Nice back cover by Ron Broadley. The book suffers from the "true comics" handicap of having too many events reduced to illustrated captions. However it's quite enjoyable and boasts good art. Especially Peter Chapman, who seems to know he's the best in the book, as he signs every page! I'd like to see more of these.
One thing I've never understood: given the close quarters, lack of privacy, and the wear and tear of life at sea, how did a female deck hand manage to conceal her gender for any length of time?
