Nice to see these on CB+. They are PD now?
Didn't know there were 'the Heap' stories in Psycho.
Nice to remember these 70's artists.
Len Brown and Carlos Garzon is an interesting combination. Not my cup of tea and I didn't pick them up at the time, but from today's perspective they are pretty tame. Nostalgia cures all ills? Thank you Narfstar. |

Comic Story | The Sub-Mariner Gets a Lesson in Humility from Namora! (4 pages) |
Synopsis | Namor’s mother introduces him to his cousin Namora, who has recently returned to their undersea kingdom with her father. Namor shuns her, however, preferring his male friends, but when he becomes trapped while playing in a sunken submarine, his old friends abandon him, and it’s Namora who comes to his rescue. |
Credits | Job #: F-762 |
Content | Genre: Superhero | Characters: Merrano (named in Saga of the Sub-Mariner #2) |
Notes | Saga of the Sub-Mariner #2 reaffirms that Namor is 15 when he meets Namora. However, a flashback cameo in The Order #6 (2002) states that he is 14.
Namora's first appearance was in Marvel Mystery Comics #82. They were depicted as adults, and meeting for the first time. Her name was Aquaria Nautica Neptunia, changing it to Namora (Avenging Daughter) after her father's murder. There was no mention of them being cousins.
Here, she is introduced to Namor, by Fen, as Namora. |
