A wonderful old fashioned S.F. story with the typical strengths and weaknesses. The cover picture leaves nothing to be desired: A big rocket, creepy extraterrestrials, a brave well-coiffed hero with a big gun and a beauty (with an even more beautiful hairstyle), who is about to faint and who needs to be rescued and off course she wears a practical adventure work suit. ;-)

Nobody seems to have mentioned that this is an adaptation of "Maza of the Moon," by Otis Adelbert Kline, which was serialized in Argosy magazine in 1929.

Notes
This comic is an uncredited adaptation of the novel "Maza of the Moon" by Otis Adelbert Kline. Gary Watson disputes the art credits on the main story, saying it looks like a combination of Wally Wood and Joe Orlando with no Charles Nicholas (April 2009).
