Thank you for the upload, Pyramid! The Scoop Scuttle strip by Wolverton was worth the price of admission!

'Monsooer Muskrateer' by Lu Guarnier [as Guarnier] (signed) has so much energy I was nearly exhausted when I finished reading it. He just had to have had a background in animation .

Guarnier certainly did! He worked for Leon Schlesinger at Warner Bros., UPA, with Maurice Zendak, worked on industrial and military training films, and with John Hubley's firm, as well as directed the King Leonardo and Tennessee Tuxedo TV Series in the early-to-mid 1960s.
