| Laziest cover art I've ever seen.
None of those guys are aiming at either the girl or Tim Holt.
The 'Chasm' is so badly drawn that Tim has to tell the reader what is going on.
And what is a girl doing up on a ledge in the middle of nowhere in a dance hall costume?
That said, the splash and the story 'helpless Hero' explains things, and the Chasm is in an entirely different area of the drawing.
The interior of the book is a different matter, Frank Bolle's work is excellent.I am not a fan of Dick Ayers, but his stylisitic work of this period on the original 'Ghost Rider' is his best. A great book. |
