I grew up in the 1960s and 70s in NYC and one of my fondest childhood memories is of getting up every sunday morning and reading the sunday Daily News with the great Sunday comics. Dick Tracey on the front page,Little Orphan Annie, Gasoline Alley, Moon Mullins,Terry and The Pirates, Winnie Winkle, those comic strips ran for many many years and were still running when I was a kid.I think Gasoline Alley is One of my all time favorite comics and I will never forget the name Skeezix
