One curious thing;- On page 6 [of the book] Scudder says, ' I came across a plot to start a third world war' And the book is about the beginnings of the first world war. I can only assume that the book was produced in1950 and whoever produced it had the fact that it was post two wars in his or her head!
Richard Hannay helps secret agent Scudder hide out in his flat. Unfortunately, when Scudder is killed, Hannay is accused of the crime and his best hope for clearing his name is to uncover the conspiracy of undercover agents who orchestrated Scudder's death.
