As occurs with a number of Fawcett's cowboy-star comics, the main character in the comic does not really resemble the actor (in this case, Bob Steele). To be fair, the artist at least doesn't draw him as a nondescript Western hero--but he goes to the other extreme, giving Steele a long nose that makes him look like Jughead Jones.

To be fair, ol' Bob Steele has a sizable proboscis based on the photo cover. It's a little wider than the way the artist draws it, though.
