Very interesting to see this view of the Dutch attitude towards The Allies' defeating The Germans and pushing them out of The Netherlands at the end of World War II, in which most of our families and neighbours suffered horrendously. Nice, expressive sketchy, fluid, drawings, showing great emotion, calculated, at least, in part, to get British, Canadian, and US soldiers to come visit The Netherlands on their leaves, and drop lots of money.
