This comic strip was drawn by dutch artist Albert Funke Küpper. He worked between the wars for many progressive newspapers. This particular comic was published in Voorwaarts (Foreward) Albert Funke Küpper died in 1934 age 40 when his car was grabbed by a train. His best (comic) work is probably Snuffelgraag en Knagelijntje a popular mouse comic (before disney!) he took over from an other dutch comic pioneer: Gerrit Rotman.

Wauw! verbazingwekkend! Dit is een klassieke, ouderwetse krantenstrip die me aan mijn kindertijd doet denken! Heel goed getekend ook. Ik hou van de gezichtsuitdrukkingen.
