SIR FALCON #26, published by Frew Publications in January 1957 (estimated). It is drawn by Kick, the penname of Jan Kickhefer, a Dutch artist and cartoonist who emigrated to Australia in 1948. Frew is the Australian publisher of the Phantom, and they initiated Sir Falcon as a hero with similar characteristics to the Ghost Who Walks. Sir Falcon is a dynastic hero, with the role passing from father to son over the generations. He is called ‘Mr Knight’ when not in his inherited armour, and is sometimes assisted by his faithful dog, Flash. The comic Sir Falcon was reprinted in England and Brazil (as Aguia Negra), and Brazilian artists produced some of the strips in that country. (I’ve included an undamaged version of the cover as well as the scanned.) There is more information about this book at the bottom of the page

Interesting post, thanks. But, um, if you have an undamaged cover, why exactly do we need a damaged cover?
By Downunder Dan
I scanned the actual cover, the undamaged one comes from online (the AusReprints.net site). I could have gone either way, but an undamaged cover with a damaged inside front cover would have looked weird and provoked questions, I think!

I've never been to the Portugese language section of Comic Book Plus before today (I don't read Portuguese), but there's 7 issues of Aguia Negra there, if you'd care to have a look. /?cid=2458
