| Notes | CAPTAIN ATOM 9 by Jack Bellew (under the pen name John Welles) and Arthur Mather, published by Atlas Publications in November 1948 (estimated). In this issue, Captain Atom faces the superpowered Wishman. Captain Atom is one of the few Australian comics published in colour (generally, only some local reprints of American comics got this treatment), although it changed to black and white when the colour printing was too expensive to be justified.
