NotesTHE CRIMSON COMET COMIC 8 was published by Leisure Productions in January 1950 (estimated). It contains two stories, one featuring CRIMSON COMET, written and drawn by Albert De Vine, commencing a long run on this feature, and the other ROGER FARR, written and drawn by C.W. Barnes. It’s printed in the landscape format, with the cover printed in a portrait orientation so that the ‘top’ of the cover is actually on the spine of the comic.

Thank you D.D. Can I call you D.D.? This is one I haven't read yet. What always impressed me about 'The Crimson Comet' was that in his secret identity he was a Hunchback. Which is the obvious way a man with wings would have to hide his real identity. Do we know anything about C.W. Barnes?

There's some info on Cliff W Barnes at AusReprints at https:ausreprints.net/creator/333/1/50 - detail is scarce, other than about his cartooning work.
