British album published by Murrays Sales and Service Company, Pentonville Road, London. Early - mid '50's. The album is a collection of disparate reprints incl. The Green Skeleton, Kid Champion, Kid Eternity. It resembles the cheap British Double Double Comics. Grand Comic Album isn't listed in the British Guide but there is a mention but no details on GCD. Did the publisher obtain the original plates? Were they even aware of such an obscure character as The Green Skeleton? Certainly, Australian comics turned up in the UK so it is possible someone at Murrays had seen the character. How they got permission is odd as there is no detailed indicia or publisher information. All thanks got to Dave Hayward for his efforts in getting this book into a readable condition. All I did was supply the album, which had loose pages and creases. No information available on where the cover illo came from. scanned and edited by Dave Hayward / supplied and uploaded by paw broon There is more information about this book at the bottom of the page

Very eclectic collection.
'Scoop Scott' looks like it could be Peter Chapman.

The common link for most of these stories is Frew Publishing. The exception is the last story, Big Brother.
The Green Skeleton is from Green Skeleton #3 (by elimination - the story titles of #1, 2 and 4 are known).
Kid Eternity, Anthrop and Archie O'Toole are all from Kid Eternity #1 - all reprints from American comics.
Scoop Scott is from Scoop Scott #1 (and only).
Kid Champion is probably from Kid Champion #3 (the cannibals appear on the cover).
Big Brother is a New Zealand character, published by Times Printing Works Ltd in an unnumbered Big Brother comic.
Panther is correct, Scoop Scott is by Peter Chapman and Kid Champion is by Jeff Wilkinson.
