NotesThe Witch's Ring is a children's book by Frank Jessup, published in 1944 by Frank Johnson Publications. Jessup started his creative career as a poet, he switched to providing illustrations for magazines and newspapers. When Frank Jonston started publishing his one-shot anthology comics, he recruited Jessup, wrote and drew stories with a number of leading characters between 1941 and 1946. After leaving the comics world, he is best known as a landscape painter, ut also produced some more children's books.
