On our page 63 is the signature "Violeta London '57." I can't find any info online. There's also a signature on the cover which I can't make out. I wonder why in SPL stories the bad guys are always allowed to escape. In this one they didn't do anything technically illegal, but in others they do break the law. Yet they're never turned over to the cops. They just run away on the last page and the good guys seem content to let them go.

The story artist is Violeta Suarez. She did several other Schoolgirl PLs around this time, including #44 "Search in the Pyranees". Regarding the failure to nail the villains, this is a recurrent feature of girl's comic stories, where the bad guys were regularly allowed to get away with murder (sometimes almost literally). Heaven knows why, but any number of stories show that their readers preferred to see all the suffering inflicted on the heroines rather than on the malefactors.
