NotesCRIMSON COMET 53 by John Dixon, published by Action Comics in October 1953 (estimated). This is from the later period of this title, when Dixon had taken it back over. This issue contains two Crimson Comet stories, one in which he is taken to Ampedia (that’s Mars, to us here on Earth), and the other where a substantial part of the story sees our hero in his civilian guise carrying out an investigation as a detective. Nice to be offered a variety of genres!
