This third-rate magazine has a lot of history tied to it. Editor Stanley Estrow was a bankruptcy lawyer during the Depression, which led him into the publishing business. He founded Trojan Publishing with Harry Donenfeld and Paul Sampliner. Trojan was responsible for a number of pulp magazines as well as a handful of comic books. In the 1950s Estrow co-founded Stanhall Publications with Hal Seeger. They published humor comics like "The Farmer's Daughter" and "G.I. Jane." I recommend checking out the detailed article about Estrow on pulpartists-dot-com (https:www.pulpartists.com/Estrow.html). It's a fascinating read. Estrow even had a hand in launching Martin Goodman's career.
