Anyone recognize the artist? Looks very familiar, but the style was popular then, so I can’t guess.

1950s promo "realistic" comic artists worked in very similar styles. They're hard to tell apart. That said, I theeeeenk this may be Tom Scheuer. In the late 50s Scheuer moved from newsstand comics to ad comics, developing a slick version of the Johnstone & Cushing house style. That style in turn influenced young Neal Adams, who later took over at least one Scheuer account. Scheuer himself moved to LA, changed his name to Tom Sawyer, and went into TV show producing and writing (notably "Murder, She Wrote.")
