| Synopsis | Unbeknownst to Linda, the man she has been seeing is involved in a G.P.O. van hold-up. When newspaper reports identify the man, whispers of Linda's involvement with him cause her to lose her job and her lodgings. Distracted, she steps off a kerb without looking in front of an oncoming car. The driver takes an interest in Linda and eventually falls in love with her, but she can't tell him or the police the truth about her troubles because she is being blackmailed. |
