My scans of Christmas Carnival 2 are now available in the St John section and Santa's Surprise is on its way in the Dell section

I was doing a little research and filing and noticed that GCD lists Santa's Surprise as actually being March of Comics #13.  Should this be relabeled here?

BTW, thanks for scanning and sharing it.  I love reading these old Holiday comics this time of year!

Narf, Check out the GCD cover gallery and listing information for March of Comics #13.  What they have at the listing sounds exactly like the issue we have. Also several of the covers in the cover gallery-most notably the Christmas issues-do not look like the regular issues.  Maybe they treated those issues a bit more special and gave some of them a children's book look.

I just thought of another question.  Given the recent thread about the connection between Western (and its various subsidiaries) and Dell should the March of Comics titles be listed in with the Dell titles for the sake of convenience?

When March of comics was started, Western produced most of the comics labeled Dell. Dell served as distributor and (I think financier).  March of comics were not distributed through the usual distribution network, but were sold to companies to give away as premiums.  They never bore the Dell label (nor later the Gold Key label).  They were (I'm pretty sure) all stated to published by Western or K.K. Publications (the latter was the same company that produced WDC&S all those years) which was some kind of subsidiary of Western.

Having said that most fans probably identify them as Dells.  GCD lists them as Dells, for example.
