My first listen to a Hall of Fantasy" show and I'm not impressed. There are absolutely no surprises. Cursed treasure is guarded by ghost, woman dreams the ghost will kill her friends if they find the treasure, they find the treasure, the ghost kills her friends. Plus an over-zealous use of an echo chambers.

Hall of Fantasy isn't half bad.

My favorite episode is "The Hand of Botar", I used to listen to this one on tape years ago with my kids, scared the bejeebers out of them!

Simeon Botar has a Hand that can "think on its own"!

The Hand shows that it is thinking by drumming its fingers on the surface it is resting on!

Well, Simeon and his hand have a falling out you might say, the Hand wins.

The Hand becomes disembodied and goes on a rampage terrorizing everyone in the house, in the dark!!!

It is best to listen to this particular episode in the dark to get the full effect.

Here is a synopsis from over at the Internet Archive...
A man enters into a game of chess with a man who claims his hand has a mind of its own, and plays blindfolded to prove it.  The hand eventually kills its owner, then goes on a killing spree.
