Uncle Joe's Funnies

Hello

This is a copy of Uncle Joe's Funnies from Centaur. This is a "raw" copy that needs editing before uploading.

A few caveats:

1) This is a digital camera scan. The owner took pictures for me so I was grateful for what I got.
2) These are low res copies. 640x480. Sorry I couldn't get them higher.
3) Pages are like I got them. Not all are in order.
4) One page is missing and one is damaged.
5) Coverless.

If I was better at Photoshop I would have tried to make the resolution better so I'm posting here to get some help.

Heritage has a copy of this book for auction in today's (12/9/18) Sunday Internet Comics, Animation, & Art Auction #121849.  It's graded CGC 0.5 and is described as follows:

Quote
Uncle Joe's Funnies #1 (Centaur, 1938) CGC PR 0.5 Off-white to white pages. Bill Everett cover. Gerber's Photo-Journal Guide to Comics rates this issue as an "8" ("rare") in its scarcity index. This is the second copy we've offered, and the first we've seen in 16 years. CGC notes, "Centerfold and half of page 18 missing, affects story. Incomplete." Overstreet 2018 GD 2.0 value = $123. CGC census 12/18: 1 in 0.5, 5 higher.

Current high bid as of time of posting is $48 ($67 with buyer's premium).  Auction is scheduled to end at 6.49pm NYC time today.

If anyone is interested in bidding on it, possibly with an eye towards cracking it out of the slab and scanning it for CB+, the link is here.

(I am not the owner and I am not affiliated with Heritage Auctions.  Just sharing this information as a public service to the group.)

EDITED TO ADD: The book sold for $312.00 including buyers' premium.

Did anyone grab bromichaelhenry's raw scan of this book?

Could he upload it again?  The link in his post is now dead.  I would have done an edit if I had noticed this back then.  :(
