Most Spanish comics up to the '60's - our cut off date - were published in b&w with a colour cover. Same with most British, Dutch, French, Italian and Australian books.  There are many colour issues of Capitan Trueno, for instance, but they were published in more recent times.  In many ways, I prefer b&w as that is the way I remember then from my childhood.
