This is an interesting one sociologically. To compare attitudes then and now to Marijuana.
'Hashish' for those who don't know, is not Marijuana. Marijuana is the plant name. 'Hashish' is a very concentrated extract made from Matijuana. And yes, ingestion of that can seriously impair your judgement.
Which is why [trivia fact coming up] the word 'Assassin' derives from it.'H Ashish -in'. This is an 'Anti-Drug comic I wasn't aware of. There weren't many (even until Marvel was asked to tackle it in Spiderman and in DC, Green Arrow's ward Speedy became a junky) and most of them are quite well-known.
