Inspired by PM1313’s comment, I decided to take an adventure into the unknown. There’s a slight variation on the classic imperilled blonde in a red dress cover meme - delightfully crafted by Ogden Whitney.

Land of the Zombies brings the dead to life. Janet is wrong though in saying Haiti is the only place where the living dead, soulless human bodies with a mechanical semblance of life, are said to walk – she’s clearly never reported on a Conservative Party conference.

The Haunted Morgue is a stand-out for the issue with its startling premise on post-mortem revenants but I have a soft spot for Double Doom – it’s not often you get to confess to killing yourself, twice! In these days of 3-D printing, the idea’s not as strange as it once appeared.

The letters page was interesting – I’m pretty sure Deanna Terry is the same Deanna Terry Peterson who became an English major and then assistant Dean of Students at UCLA before graduating into oddly both a minister and astrologer until her death in 2003 – and all from being inspired by Adventures into the Unknown!

Andrew999,

That deduction about Deanna Terry Peterson would have to be perhaps the most obscure piece of information I have seen on CB+. Congratulations! I too like to check the lettercols to see who I might recognize.
And here she is

Cheers!
