Harry Stahl's work on this--at least the surface of it--reminds me of John Severin's inking. I did a sort of double-take and looked quickly to see who the artist was. Then I even checked around to see if Severin had been working at this time and might have been an anonymous hand on it.

Now I'm wondering if Stahl was an influence on him, or if they just used the same brand of brushes.
