There's something really Stepford about this - an air hostess (who happens to be a world-class ballerina in her spare time and a nurse at weekends) has fan clubs all over the country and never looks tired? She knows lots of cloned men all called Ken - even marries one of them, though I guess it doesn't matter which one. Everyone is smiling ALL THE TIME - and all the black people have all evaporated.

Were there really Barbie fan clubs and did they have shopping committees? I think we should be told.

Also strange is that the expression on the original Barbie figure's face. Her mouth is set in an unpleasant line and her (and Ken's) eyes have that unfocused, drugged look that reminds me of Gerry Anderson puppets.
