Happy 90th birthday to Betty Boop - she's still looking good for her age:

Odd that there have been so few Betty Boop comic books - she would seem to be a natural for short humorous strips. I know there were some in the thirties.

From time-to-time there has been talk of a live-action - how much fun that could be a jazz age harlem swing vibe - but like many characters, copyright claims have muddied the waters and appear to have made any attempt to extend the character not worth the effort.
