Okay. I'm somewhat confused but I think I did things right. I zipped each CBR and uploaded it to mediafire. I think right now it would be better to not post the mediafire link on GAC, just because I'm new at this and may delete the file accidently.

This is 1961 but GAC already has 028 so I hope it's okay. I believe the author needs to be changed to GETFREE-DREGS. Sorry.

Charlie Chan 009
I am not the scanner, so author needs to be changed to unknown. Sorry again.

Submarine Attack 028, 031, 036, 042
These are from 1961 and 1963. They seem to have the same info has The Fightin Air Force 026, so hopefully they are PD. Once again, the scanner on 036 needs to be changed to Vigilante407. Apologies for the final time.

Please let me know if I need to do these again or any other tips you might have. It's great to be able to contribute.

Thanks for the books Maxmilian! They be checked before they are on the site to make sure they are PD. Can never be too careful!

Hey Max the books are in the Silver Age section. They are under your name. Registered users get credit there regardless of whose scans they are. The scanner can still get credit in the commments.

I'm always amazed when I find books that I never noticed were here. Like Cisco Kid or this Charlie Chan. I'm going to have to go into each publisher and examine them all.

Wow, I didn't think they would get on-site so quickly. I was just going to say I had used 4shared.com, not mediafire like I said. Never mind!

Regarding author credit, Submarine Attack 036 definitely needs to be changed to Maximilian, as a previous scanner's name is there and both scanners would appreciate the correction, I'm sure. (A tip to newbies like myself - hit refresh after each upload so you start with a clean upload form!)

RE: scanner credit - the scanner's name, when known with this batch, is in the file name, which I put as the description. Should I also put a scanner credit in a comment, or is credit in the file name just as good?

It made my day to hear that someone discovered the Charlton Charlie Chans on this site because of my post. That's what it's all about.

Sub a 36 changed

As far as credits go the credit must go to a registered member. This is usually the scanner if known. If unknown  or unregistered scanner the uploader can take credit. Uploaders and those who edit scans can be credited in the comments.

Apparently I forgot to upload Submarine Attack 42 even though I listed it. Sorry about that. I will list it in my next upload post.

Also, Charlie Chan 009 was put on the site under my name but it does not show up in my approved/unapproved listings and it does not appear to count toward my total uploads. Not a big deal, just wondering. I'm  glad so many people are enjoying my uploads.

I do not thing the user cp is fully functional again only the admin can check such things
